Masani is a second year student in Public Interest law. His administrative skills and experience working with nonprofit organizations further his abilities to give back to children and families affected by the AIDS crisis. As part of the first GBA cohort of Scholars, he was instrumental in establishing the Giving Back to Africa Scholars Program at the Protestant University of Congo.
Malivo Kagaba Jeannot:
Malivo is a second year student in Rural Economic Development. He is interested in giving back to his community in the war-torn province of Ituri, in eastern DRC, through his knowledge of best practices in agriculture-based economies. He is part of the first cohort of GBA Scholars, and he made great contributions to the first year of the program.
Mihigo Matabaro:
Originally from the Eastern Province of South Kivu, Mihigo came to Kinshasa for the first time when he began his Economic studies at the Protestant University of Congo. With a brilliant passion for computers and information technology, Mihigo looks forward to helping create greater economic opportunity in the DRC.
Thontwa Soe:
Thontwa is a first year student of Law at the Protestant University of Congo. Originally from the Equateur Province in the Northwestern region of DRC, Thontwa is very interested in non-governmental community development work.
